10.or (pronounced as Tenor) is new brand in India and company is said to have launched the first device, 10 .or E in India couple of months back. Later company has announced that their second device at the sub 15K INR pricing, the 10.or G which has the best hardware and the first device in India with Snapdragon 626 chip set and its coupled with either 3GB or 4GB RAM which how does this device at this price segment? Design and Build:
As per the design and build, 10.or G does not offer anything new which looks similar to Lenovo K8 Note in terms of design language. Phone is said to come with dual camera set up on the rear panel and a dual LED flash is alongside of it. Fingerprint scanner is said to be placed below to it and you can able to see that 10. or branding at the bottom. Front panel houses at the 5.5 inches with Full HD display which has front 16 MP camera and front flash. Below its display, you can able to see large bezels as the navigational buttons on to the screen. Left side has the SIM and micro SD card slot. It has a power and column keys on the right side. Micro USD changing slot and speaker unit are located at the bottom while 3.5 mm audio jacks is said to lay on the top panel.
Antenna bands are on the rear panel and they blend into the designs. Its build quality is good with study build with metal unibody construction. 10 or. Must have done a bit more in terms of looks but as per the budget we dont complain much.
10.or G is with 5.5 inch full HD IPS LCD panel with 1080p resolution. Display also has 2.5D curved glass with Corning Gorilla glass protection included. Display is sharp, crisp and offers perfect colors with good viewing angles. Sunlight readability is adequate and wont have any issues using device outdoors. Touch response is said to be a very perfect one.
Addition of display protection is something is the most OEMs skip at this price segment. Overall, the display on the 10.or G is good.
10.or G runs on Android 7.1.2 out of the box with stock UI. There aren’t any third party apps or customization. Since the UI is stock, you get the default settings in the UI, so there are no options like dual apps or themes in the device. 10.or is also promising upgrade to Android O and also security updates which is indeed a good move.
Its notification center and quick toggles are perfect in stock UI. Phone has stock Android, there is no bloataware included other than any few Amazon apps that cant be uninstalled. Phone will come with split screen multitasking and Google assistant.
10.or G is powdered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 chipset and its first device with 626 at India and the SD626 is one of the upgraded variant of popular SD625. In day today tasks, the10.or G was one of the well performed and responsive tasks without any kind of issues. Even if you push harder with many apps opened at the background which is performed but the RAM management also is good on to the device.
Gaming performance onto the device is also smooth and we have tested the performance with heavy graphics rich games such as Asphalt 8 and N.O.V.A 3 and overall performance was smooth and was hardly any issues. Phone is said to have a bit warm with extended gaming but maximum temperature was just 44 degrees.
This mobile supports dual SIM cards with 4G LTE and VoLTE. There is also a hybrid SD card where you want to expand its storage. Call quality is perfect and didnt see any type of issues.
Fingerprint scanner on to the device is located at the rear panel and does a perfect job in unlocking the device. Its responsive and fast in unlocking the device.
10.or G has a dual camera is set up similar to a lot of many other mobiles. It comes with a dual 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and front facing 16MP cameras for selfies. Mobile has a perfect camera interface with usual options and modes. There is no manual mode thats included in mobile which can also record videos at full HD resolution.
Its daylight captures were slightly washed away out in colors and sharpness levels on pretty avera. Overall clarity of pictures were not good as K8 Note, Mi A1 or Honor 6X offered. Low light performance was not that great with noise at low light images. Dual camera with bokeh mode again inconsistent and was not great at overall performer. 16MP selfie camera gives a better job than rear camera and photos looked better in color quality.
10.or G packs a massive 4000mAh battery similar to Redmi Note 4 and Lenovo K8 Note. Its device is powered by one of the best efficient chip sets, performance is really good and you can get more than 1.5 days battery life on average. If you are a regular mobile users and looking for great battery life then 10.or G should be on your list.
10.or G is a good mobile offered in the sub 15K INR price segment with stock android, promised updates, greate battery life and good performance offered at a good price.
